iam (Ink and Movement) is an artistic project with more than ten years promoting urban artists in our country. Their cultural proposals have a reputation of being one step ahead as they search for new scenarios to bring art closer to masses.
Two works are worthy of mention; on one hand “Kaos Temple”, in which the artist Okuda San Miguel works the whole interior walls of a church, has become an emblem of contemporary art’s conquest of classical scenery; on the other “Truck Art Project”, that can be best described as a fleet of art in motion, in which a group of artistically intervened trucks do their commercial routes, bringing art with them to places that normally have little to no access to artistic showings. These are only two recent examples of Ink and Movement’s quest for the renovation of artistic formats.
Their online gallery (iamgallerymadrid.com), along with their usual pop-up shows and collective displays are already a mainstay in the Urban Art circuit of Spain. The collaboration with galleries from around the world, constantly exporting the works of its artists, places them among the elite in the international scene.
